Day 350 - Shappin'!!

Accidental abstract photo for picture of the day - because I'm lazy *cough* I mean artistic and creative. Today I was shopping in Belfast with me three best friends!! Mainly for eachother... so it was awkward trying not to see what everyone else had bought for you haha! In fact, Michelle ended up taking my bag home instead of hers, and I have hers, so I have potentially MY presents in my room!! So tempted to look... but I won't. But it was a good day, I'm excited for exchanging these presents.

The snow's coming back thick and fast... it had died down for a couple of days, and now it's crazy heavy!! I was worried we weren't gonna be able to get home!

Day 338 - Happy One Month :)

Today has been a good day!! Today is me and Patrick's one month anniversary, so we went out to Belfast for a bit of shopping. I have to say, it's the first time I've ever gone to Belfast without going into a single clothes shop! We went into all these random stores which was awesome, usually when I'm out with the girls all we do is clothes shop, so it was nice for a wee break! :D
We went for dinner at T.G.I. Fridays and it was delicious. We also dandered around the continental market for ages, which is where we bought these amazing hats for eachother - aren't they great???
So yeah, good day. Happy one month Patrick!

Day 200 - Belfaaawwwst!!

Today I was in Belfast with Sophie and Michelle... doing a bit of shopping and hanging out! :D It was fun! I got a new purple dress, which I like, amongst other stuff. We raided Tiso (an outdoorsy shop) a bit, because I had vouchers for it and didn't need anything specific, so we went a bit mad! Eating at McDonalds was a lot of fun with our new sporks!! :D

So, I did something from the Spade List last night, but I'm not gonna tick it off for a wee while... it'll make more sense later!

Also... DAY 200!! WOOOOOO!!!

Day 123 - "Doilies!!"

We did it!! We ran the Belfast Fun Run - 5k! It was epic fun but now I am beastly tired! So I'll write more about it tomorrow when my brain is working!

Day 122 - Race Day Tomorrow!

^These are my new 'dork glasses'. I bought them because I wanted to wear them for my 5k tomorrow! YES! It's my 5k tomorrow! I'm kinda nervous / excited! Today some of us went to Belfast, to go to Vineyard Church (it wasn't bad) and to pick up race packs etc for tomorrow! Haha I'm not sure how ready I am for this! :)

Day 95 - *Slurrrrpp*

Guess What?! Guess What?! I have 10 followers!! This is a momentous occasion! I feel the need to celebrate. How shall I celebrate? I shall have a glass (or three) of Coke in Nando's! WIN!
I am rather pleased, not simply because I have 10 followers on my blog, but because this year was the first year I was able to give up something for Lent and not break it. I went off Coke, and any other Cola drink, i.e. Pepsi. So today, I got into Nando's and was sorta thirsty. I was excited by the fact that they had free refills, so I got a glass and chugged it. *burp* that was fun.

Well today I was in Belfast for a wee shopping trip with a few friends of mine! I got some nice stuff! As well as the Spade List, I now have a 'Sarah and Jo' list... a list of things we have to do together! =) it makes me smile!

Day 59 - I Love Friendly People!!

Today I was at Exchange Church Belfast and met probably the nicest, friendliest congregation EVER. I walked in the door, and after being handed a little welcome note and being offered some coffee by a very nice welcomer person, another woman saw us, and knowing we were visitors said, "I'm not part of the welcoming committee... but I'm gonna hug ya anyway!!" and gave us a hug. Most surreal "entering a church"moment ever!

The service was good and at the end / beginning everyone just seemed to want to talk to us, and made us feel so welcome! =) I ended up having a great wee chat with the guy who did the talk! He's awesome. I think I've found the church I could happily go to for the rest of my life!

This is a picture of my fire in my house, there were really cool patterns on the glass! And so February has now ended too =/ that is rather scary, as it reminds me of the amount of work I have to do! Happy last day of February everybody!

Day 58 - Being The Inner Child

"When I grow up, I want to be a little boy" - Joseph Heller, Something Happened, 1974

This man has got his priorities straight. Today I relived a little bit of my childhood with some friends of mine =)
After buying stuff in Belfast to send off to an orphanage / feeding station / clinic in Peru (horay for good deeds!) a few of us went to the mighty W5 to relive our childhood! W5 (whowhatwherewhenwhy... W5... geddit?) is a science and discovery centre, and one of the most awesome things in this little country of mine! Science and discovery may sound boring, but this place is UBER exciting, and I hadn't been there since I was a kid so this was an awesome experience for me! I'll show you some pics with captions, maybe you'll get an idea! Seriously, this place is magic... the photos prove it, and they're not even Photoshopped! ;)

Mich uses her
Jedi mind powers / ninja skills to keep a ball floating in mid air... MAGIC!

Vikki discovers she can shoot lightning bolts out of her hands... MAGIC!

We go to Digiworld and play volleyball / converse with drinks cans... MAGIC!

So altogether? An awesome day with awesome people! Never be afraid to let that inner child out! =) you may find that you are more yourself like that, than like anything else!

Day 49 - Slap Happy =)

Today my friend said she was feeling very 'slap happy'. I agreed, then asked if there was an actual definition of 'slap happiness'. She paused for a while, turned to me and with a huge grin on her face started slapping my arm shouting "SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP!!". That, my friends, is the definition of 'slap happiness'.
The opposite of 'slap happy' is FACE OF RAGE!! This is the face of rage... drawn by myself on a T-shirt (original face of rage copyright Sophie).

Today my friends Vikki and Corinne and I headed up to Belfast to go "shappin" as they say there. I wasn't looking to buy anything in particular so when I saw T-shirt markers in Urban Outfitters I was like "DONE" and ran to Primark and H&M to buy plain T-shirts and hoodies to draw on. I think I had a worthwhile trip!
After going to Belfast with those two I got straight back on another bus to Downpatrick to go to the cinema with my bezzie Sarah to watch the film Valentines Day! It was pretty good! Although the best bit about it was the fact that I got to hang out with Sarah =) love her!

Day 30 - Epic Ninja Rolls...

I know that this photograph is nothing to do with the title "Epic Ninja Rolls". This morning, I had awesome fun at karate. We were practicing our agility, and did these fights where you have to tap your opponent on the shoulder or below the knee to win. My good buddy Mich and I discovered the way to win is to epicly ninja roll. On realising this, we started planning our fights in advance - "Okay so you epicly ninja roll, I'll jump/somersault over you and we'll see who wins!" It was a lot of fun! =D

The picture is of the Victoria Square in Belfast. I was shopping today in the afternoon, buying clothes for Work Experience! I'M GOING TO A PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!!!
Wheeeeeeyyyyyyy!! Hopefully I'm gonna learn lotsa epicly cool photography stuff! I'm excited!

Now I shall epicly ninja roll away and sign out. Awesome.
