Day 356 - Nearly There!

3 days until Christmas, 9 days until this blog is over... nearly there peeps!

I just said "peeps". Wow.

Day 354 - Dorkier Than Most.

This is Leahy, just being his usual self!Today school was off again, but being the absolute DORKS we are, Leahy, Michelle, Patrick and I actually went into school to get our schoolbags and stuff, incase school was closed until after Christmas. We ended up shovelling the snow with Matthew, another friend of ours in our year, and it was actually fun! Then we just chilled for the rest of the day! Twas fun.

Day 353 - Snow Snow Snow.... And More Snow.

It's been a lazy day, not done much. Was meant to be filming, but the snow made sure we didn't. Stupid snow.

Day 352 - Changed My Mind.

I've changed my mind. I do not like this heavy snow. It ruined my night out with the girls. We were all meant to be going out to Spice Fusion (that awesome Indian) tonight, but the roads were impossible to get through!! It seems that a lot of things had been cancelled tonight! Ugh. Ah well, I guess we'll get to go out another time... *sigh.

At least my dad and my little sister have been making some use of the snow -

Day 351 - SNOW DAY!!

Woooooo!!! Finally! The school is closed due to snow! Seriously, what took you so long? Except one problem, my bag and art folder is in school... LOL. I had a very good day anyway, I spent the day with Patrick. :) He walked to my house to walk me back to his... bless. :) We had a nice wee DVD day, watching Hot Rod and Napoleon Dynamite while drinking ginger beer... good day indeed! Thank you snow!!

Day 350 - Shappin'!!

Accidental abstract photo for picture of the day - because I'm lazy *cough* I mean artistic and creative. Today I was shopping in Belfast with me three best friends!! Mainly for eachother... so it was awkward trying not to see what everyone else had bought for you haha! In fact, Michelle ended up taking my bag home instead of hers, and I have hers, so I have potentially MY presents in my room!! So tempted to look... but I won't. But it was a good day, I'm excited for exchanging these presents.

The snow's coming back thick and fast... it had died down for a couple of days, and now it's crazy heavy!! I was worried we weren't gonna be able to get home!

Day 346 - Snow Is Fallin'...

Is this snow ever going away? Hmm, it certainly doesn't look like it! The X Factor final was tonight! I was at Mich's house to watch it and there was a lot of screaming involved... I don't know why I get so into it! Those clever X Factor people, they have a way of making it seem like its the most important thing in the world!!

Day 339 - Sledging!!!

Today we went sledding!!!! We had to do some filming for SU in Tollymore, but we also brought along the sledges for the bant. It was awesome! I really like this picture I got Patrick from the back.
The lighting was really good, so I was able to get some pretty good pictures of people coming down the hill on the sledges without the worry of them blurring or anything. I love this one of Michelle and Leahy :)

Clearly I didn't take the above picture of me and Patrick, but I like it so I'm posting it anyway.

Day 335 - DECEMBER!!

Well would you look at that? It's December! I can finally allow myself to be in the Christmas mood! I haven't been allowing myself to feel Christmassy before December, cause that would be a little bit ridiculous. I found this heart shaped leaf in my garden, and I thought it was kinda cute :)

Day 334 - I Love Snow!

I love snow... and sunsets... and the combination of both!! The snow is a mighty hassle sometimes, but ya gotta love it. Snowmen, and sledding... WIN!

I kinda like how at dusk, the snow still seems rather white compared to everything else, and the night scenery then is really high contrast. I dunno, it just amuses me! :)

Day 333 - Lol At You.

Oh lol at this boy. Yes, Adam, lol at you.

Today he decided he was going to walk from his house to Michelles, which is approximately 15 miles. Thankfully I was able to lift him part way there so he didn't die on the road. If he did die I would be very upset you see! So I ended up also walking a wee bit to Michelle's house, and we just hung out all the evening. It was good bant indeed!! :)

Day 52 - Sick And Snowed In...

Today I was awoken (too early on a Sunday for my liking) by my mother who proceeded to tell me to get my camera and go outside. I did. About 4 or 5 inches of snow had fallen last night... the heaviest I've seen since I was 8 (what an immense Winter that was, every child's dream come true!!) I was able to drag myself out of bed to stand on my door step and take pictures; using the telephoto lense so that I wouldn't have to step onto the snow. I'm pretty pleased with the photos I got, so I've uploaded a lot! I would have liked to go out into the snow with my little sister and build a snowman or something but I'm bunged up with the cold and feel so so sick its not even funny. =(

We're all back to school tomorrow... the joys eh? Ugh. Well it has been an awesome half term! Hope everyone else had fun! Now to get stuck back into the work... the sheer thought of it exhausts me. School. Ew. Why?!?!

I thought it was cool the way the blue sky was appearing despite the harsh weather that we clearly had last night. It gives me just that little bit of hope... I'll survive until summer... there'll always be that blue sky! =)

Day 34 - Snowdrops Keep Fallin' On My Head...

It snowed today! Like a lot! Much more than I would have got where I live. The studio I'm working in is FREEZING though! Just edited pictures all day today... nothing really worth noting I guess! It's fun anyway.

This pic? It's of a street lamp, taken from a window upstairs. I focused on the rain (or snow) drops to make the street lamp go all circle-y. I like it!

Day 9 - Snow Looks Like Polystyrene!!

Doesn't it kinda look like polystyrene balls? Yeah, I don't have much to say today... Jo out!

Day 5 - I'm Gonna Be Snowed In If This Continues...

There's a lot of snow! I'm sincerely hoping that it snows some more so that I won't have to go to school tomorrow... that would be nice!!

Anyway, about this photo! Project 365, for the 5th of January. Yes indeed! My mum was about to throw out some flowers that she had got a while ago, but I rescued a bunch and took them outside to take pictures of them in the snow! The light was just right for this pic, which makes me smile, because often you just have to improvise with the light there is!

I mentioned in a previous post that I can talk the biggest load of crap ever when blogging.... it's more difficult to talk crap than I first thought!!

Day 4 - More Snow? Excellent!

So I had an AWESOME day out with my good friends Corinne and Sophie messing around in the snow. I like this photograph. Seeing the sunset and knowing it would make silhouettes, I got them to pose - jumping, hands in the air, superhero pose etc. I liked the pictures I got with them posing but they soon got bored and Corinne started tickling Sophie. I got this on camera and I ended up liking it better than the posed ones!
