Day 354 - Dorkier Than Most.

This is Leahy, just being his usual self!Today school was off again, but being the absolute DORKS we are, Leahy, Michelle, Patrick and I actually went into school to get our schoolbags and stuff, incase school was closed until after Christmas. We ended up shovelling the snow with Matthew, another friend of ours in our year, and it was actually fun! Then we just chilled for the rest of the day! Twas fun.

Day 351 - SNOW DAY!!

Woooooo!!! Finally! The school is closed due to snow! Seriously, what took you so long? Except one problem, my bag and art folder is in school... LOL. I had a very good day anyway, I spent the day with Patrick. :) He walked to my house to walk me back to his... bless. :) We had a nice wee DVD day, watching Hot Rod and Napoleon Dynamite while drinking ginger beer... good day indeed! Thank you snow!!

Day 347 - Monday Again...

Bah humbug. It does not feel like Christmas at all while being at school. I dislike school, I just want to be off already! Well, to add to the Christmassy mood to my blog, I'll take a nice Christmassy photo of the tree. Haha I have a bobble with my name on it! Win!

Day 312 - "Fox On The Run"

This is called a 'foxtail', its a baseball with a long piece of fabric attached, it's a lot of fun, but it's been lying in our garage for ages. Oh school... I'm sick of it. Roll on Christmas holidays!

Day 306 - Bunny Wabbit

Bunny rabbit! Innit adorable?So back at school after the half term holiday... meh. Roll on Christmas already! Christmas is gonna be awesome, summer was, half term was.... so it better be! :)

Day 293 - I Heart You

It is indeed another lazy phone pic of Michelle... I need to be more motivated! Today I had been wandering around with 'I HEART YOU written on the palm of my hand. This was a lot of fun because when I would wave at people like I normally do, they would start to wave back but then stop and smile when they saw the writing. Seeing them smile made me smile too. :)

Day 284 - Pajama Jones

Pajama Jones popped into school today, but he got really angry and punched Mich and Leahy. Too bad Patrick wasn't there to stop him... :(

Day 266 - I've Been Thinking...

Feeling better today, so I went back into school. I was taking more bird pictures today... I thought this one was interesting 'cause one of the birds was mid flight. :)I've been thinking... quite a bit. There has been a lot to think about recently. What am I thinking about? Oh, different things; school, friends, the future... ... yeah, I've been thinking a lot.

Day 265 - Rainbow.

I was sick today. Weellll.... really I've been sick for ages. I've been feeling like crap all this week, and most of last week. Today I figured I needed a break from school, seeing as it was a half day and I only had art anyway. It was lucky I did, because today I felt the worst!

On a plus though... rainbow!

Day 264 - Me? Grown Up? Pfft.

It still feels kinda funny being Upper Sixth now. I remember when I was a first year and used to look up at the Sixth years and think 'wow.... they are so grown up'. I don't feel grown up, I feel like a big kid! In first year I was so excited for when it was my turn to be an SU Leader.... now here I am. It's true what they say, time flies. Especially when you're having fun... which I am :)

I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart.

Day 246 - Being Grown Up And All That Jazz

We got our U6th ties today!! Woop woop how exciting... I feel oh so grown up :P

Day 245 - Day Two In The World Of U6th-ness

One of the presents my sister got for her birthday was a scooter... she loves it! This is her on it.

I'm already getting a bit sick of school... and art is already starting to stress me out.... meh, hopefully it'll get better! It feels wierd being U6th, I keep expecting to see people from the year above, but I don't! I feel old...

Day 244 - Here We Go...

Back to school! I've decided to be optimistic... this year is gonna be better than last year. I'm gonna have fun, and enjoy myself, despite the fact that I have a lot more work to do! I guess having one less subject will also make things better. What does excite me is that they've brought back home study this year, which means I can go home at lunch time on Wednesdays! :DHere's to the year ahead!

Day 175 - Los Estados Unidos!

So this picture seems rather appropriate for today. It's of the American flag Corinne brought me back from America last year, with my fairy lights.

The picture is appropriate for various reasons -

• Dear Vikki is currently cruisin' round America and will be for another good while!
• Dear Corinne leaves tomorrow morning to cruise around America for a good while!
• Dear Samantha will also be leaving in the not so distant future to cruise round America!
• I already miss / will miss the above a lot!!

aaaaannd.....

• I'm talking to Americans on Skype...
• Those fairy lights are really pretty and I think I'll turn them on more often! (okay that was more of a train of thought than a reason...)

But I said goodbye to school for the last time before results day today, so summer has officially begun!! :D And a good summer it shall be! I hope all of you have a truly wonderful summer, whether you're in America, Northern Ireland or anywhere! :)

Day 168 - Contemplating Existence...(?)

Today I was contemplating the existence of bees. I came to the conclusion that they exist. My belief in bees was confirmed when one landed on my nose and stung me.

While most of you are reading the above 3 sentences with baffled expressions on your ignorant faces, one girl is sitting on her computer giggling because I kept my promise ;) I like confusing you people!

Today I was back in school... yes. I was taking a few sports day pictures first, and then we had our magazine tea party!! It was a lot of fun! :) Mrs Ellis brought in a lot of Shloer (real posh fizzy drink, or "soda" for you yanks) so that's my pic of the day!

Day 167 - 夏

It's summer!! (Summer in Japanese is 夏, hence the title of this post) I have finished my last exam and now it is summer! Wanna know something ironic? I'm going into school tomorrow.... lol(?)

Ah well... tomorrow will actually be fun! ;)
Tonight Jayne and I went for a wee walk at the outskirts of Tollymore. (We were at the buildings opening - I had designed the new logo so my dad wanted me to go... a Blue Peter presenter [Helen Skelton] was there... she's nice! Lol) 'Twas nice to have a little catch up! It's a bit sad that the best picture we had decided that I took was one that didn't include Jayne's face though... =P

Day 160 - Returning To Narnia...

RS is done..... Thomas Merton may you bother me no longer! (Unless I repeat, which I don't want to do, but after that exam I may never know....)

So on the way home from school I took the Dundrum bus home and went for another wee walk down Narnia. :) :) Best part of my day to be honest; walking through that road.

I'm pretty exhausted after those two exams... I kinda just want to get out of my house and go do something FUN (I apologise, I have a habit of writing FUN in capital letters... long story) now, while I've got the chance, before MIA. Hopefully something will pop up soon! :)

Day 153 - Walking Through Narnia...

I went into school today for a wee while just while to pick up some stuff / drop some stuff off. You know, there is nothing to do in Downpatrick! Vikki and I waited around for an hour for the bus to come to take us home... seriously Downpatrick... get yourself something fun! ... like a playpark!! :D

Ah well, I got the Dundrum bus home which involved walking home for about 2 miles, but that didn't bother me. My normal bus home (Castlewellan) has a tendency to be temperamental and one time I was left to walk 2 miles on a dangerous main road. Scary!! But walking home from Dundrum means country roads, hardly any cars. It's also a very pretty road!

I happened to have my camera with me, so I snapped some pictures on my favourite road - the Moneylane Road, a.k.a. Narnia. It's called Narnia because it takes you from my road directly to my friends house, and you reach the end of it and say "Woah!! How did I get here?? I was just at Jo's house!!" The above picture is the view of the Mourne Mountains from Moneylane. I love the sky in this picture.

Cow parsnip grows all along the roads along where I live, it's hard not to see it when you're out for a walk! It's a really dainty little flower and rather pretty! :)And finally this is a picture of a tree I have to stop and admire every time I walk past... it's so pretty.

Day 133 - So Long! Farewell!

Today we had a leaving party for my name buddy, Jo, who isn't coming back to school next year! We got her a Hannah Montana cake - and we got a lot of people to sign her shirt! :) I think we had a good wee party! So long Jo! You shall be missed!

Day 131 - Tuesday?! Are You Serious?!

I want to be off school already! It feels like it should be Friday, but it's only Tuesday! Aaaa!!
