Day 363 - Leapster!

This is a picture of my sister playing her new Leapster. It's like a gameboy for kids her age. She loves it!

Day 353 - Snow Snow Snow.... And More Snow.

This is a picture I took of my sister today.
It's been a lazy day, not done much. Was meant to be filming, but the snow made sure we didn't. Stupid snow.

Day 296 - Pulling Faces!

My sister's a hilarious kid, and I love her to bits. I realise that I upload a lot of pictures of her, but she is always willing to pose (and I mean pose literally) for me.This photo makes me laugh!

Day 269 - Windswept.

It was windy today, so this is a picture of my sister looking very windswept! :) Well, I had a beast post yesterday, so I don't feel the need to write much today.

Day 247 - Epic Just Like The Matrix!

I am soo soooo sooooooo excited for our karate demo at the end of the month!! We're gonna be doing something truly EPIC, in the style of the Matrix :D It better be good, as this is gonna be our last demo. Sad times, but it means we're gonna make this one amazing! This is a picture of my sister Katie sitting on a table. I kinda like the lighting in it!

Day 245 - Day Two In The World Of U6th-ness

One of the presents my sister got for her birthday was a scooter... she loves it! This is her on it.

I'm already getting a bit sick of school... and art is already starting to stress me out.... meh, hopefully it'll get better! It feels wierd being U6th, I keep expecting to see people from the year above, but I don't! I feel old...

Day 204 - Normality?

Today I met up with Jayne in Newcastle! We just walked and talked and had a good time! It was a nice wee catch up :) plus we had ice cream!!

I came home to find this - my sister sitting in a kayak, in my driveway, reading a book. Only in my house would this be normal.

Day 180 - Upon Rediscovering Fish Eye...

So you may remember that post I had, "Upon Rediscovering Macro..." in which I had taken pictures with my macro lens, rediscovering my love for it. Today I rediscovered my fish eye lens! I realized (facepalm for not realizing this before) that you didn't have to have it fully zoomed out to get a distorted picture. Half way between actually works really well!

Here's some pics I got of my sister... oh how she loves the attention! She's always happy to post for the camera, but will rarely do what you ask her too haha!
The one above makes me laugh :D and so does the one below actually... I'll tell you why. So Katie often asks me to show her some karate. One of the katas I often show her is Bassai. So I asked Katie to stick her hand towards the camera so that I could make a wide angle distortion, and she did this - which is actually the exact hand position for the opening of Bassai. This kid picks up things quick!!
Speaking of karate, tonight I'm going out to dinner with the karate gang! :) Should be bant!

Day 176 - My Best Friend.

My sister is such a poser! Any time I have my camera with me, she runs up to me and poses! And when I say "pose" I mean pose. I think she watches too much TV! Haha! I just managed to get this shot of her before she turned around and stuck her tongue out at me. I just love her bemused expression! My sister is my best friend :)Well yesterday my insurance for the car (whom my cousin has named Mowgli) got sorted out, so I've been driving around a few times... on the roads!! It's a little scary!! But I'm enjoying it!

Day 143 - La Agua

So the good weather returned today! It's finally starting to really look like summer! I took a break from doing art to go outside with my sister and we had some fun spraying the air with the garden hose!Hope you like these pics! :)

Day 129 - I Love My Sister!

Today I decided to take a picture of something that means a lot to me. This is a picture of my bracelet. I'll explain why it's important to me below. My sister made me this bracelet. It's nothing fancy, just some beads on a piece of wire, but I love it. One day in Sunday school the kids were making bracelets for themselves to remind themselves about the Easter story. There were beads left over, so my friend Sarah, who was helping the class, told Katie (my sister) that she could make another one "for someone special". So Katie said "I'll make one for Joanna!" When I heard this it made me smile a lot, 'cause my sister's only 4, and so everything's about 'Mummy' at the minute. So when she made it for me, it kinda meant a lot.

So I've been wearing it since then, and every time she notices I'm wearing it, it makes her really happy, which makes me really happy too! I love my sister. We're best friends.

Day 107 - Everybody Loves Saturday!

It's Saturday! Horay! I am totally living for the weekend right now! Summer really can't come soon enough.... it's gonna be immense.

It was a really nice sunny day today so I sat with my sister outside and took a few photographs. The problem with 4 year olds is, I could see the sort of photo I wanted in my head, but she would just not do anything I asked her to! So I just kinda let her do her own thing, and I think the pictures I got are actually pretty cute!

So I haven't been writing much for the past few days... this is due to a mixture of laziness, busyness and lack of interesting stuff you write! Ah well... you probably like it better the less I write any way ;)

Day 57 - Darn Faulty Blogger Template!

So you may have noticed I have changed the template of my blog... again. I had changed it a couple of days ago to a more personal one, which everyone seemed to like, but there seems to be a glitch, and the header keeps disappearing on me, so I need to edit the html stuff again. So I've decided to scrap that template and have reverted to my old template which I know does not have that annoying little glitch. My apologies.

This picture isn't great. It's of my sister and one of her cuddly toys.
