Day 270 - Something You Should Know About Me.

Dear best friend(s),

There's something you should know about me. I'm sticking with you. I'm here for you. I don't care if people hate me for it. I don't care if people read this and are like 'ugh'. I don't care. Day 269 - Windswept.

It was windy today, so this is a picture of my sister looking very windswept! :) Well, I had a beast post yesterday, so I don't feel the need to write much today.

Day 268 - Best Day EVER!!!

It's true... BEST DAY EVER!! The day started off with waking up tired, groggy in a tent in Anna's back garden, grabbing a quick breakfast and then jumping in the car to head to Newcastle. Now the roadtrip to Newcastle from Crossgar direction with Michelle and Leahy was fun enough, but the day was only to get better!

We arrived in Newcastle just on time for Mich, Matthew and I to do our long awaited FINAL KARATE DEMONSTRATION. *tear ... our last ever demo, and it was the best one. To watch the highlights of the karate demo click here to watch us on Youtube. Hope you like! We are such violent children. We were watched by our good friends Leahy, Jamie and Patrick.

After the, quite frankly, awesome demo, we jumped back into the cars and headed to Tollymore, the local forest park. The journey there was freaking hilarious, and we got up to some antics. Best car journey ever? Hmmm... possibly second to that one time we glowstick raved to Defying Gravity at full blast over FUSED. Funny, it was the same road!

ANYWAYS... we arrived at Tollymore after an epic car chase to begin filming for our next SU video! It's an epic story of good versus evil... in seven minutes. It has also been uploaded to our Youtube site, so you can watch it here. Oh this is such a Youtubey post.
This is Leahy dressed up in his cowboy attire. I would talk about how awesome the video is, but you'll just have to watch it instead, I couldn't possibly give anything away! Okay maybe one thing... DUR DUR DUR DUR DUR. There. Done.

Day 267 - Forever Young

Shooting into the light at night... it gives an interesting effect!Tonight was Anna's birthday party! It was a lot of fun, there was a bouncy castle, and a trampoline and lots of tents and a marquee! Wooo! There's a heck of a lot of people turning 18 nowadays, I feel very young... but then again I'm okay with that. Part of me would like to be forever young.

Day 266 - I've Been Thinking...

Feeling better today, so I went back into school. I was taking more bird pictures today... I thought this one was interesting 'cause one of the birds was mid flight. :)I've been thinking... quite a bit. There has been a lot to think about recently. What am I thinking about? Oh, different things; school, friends, the future... ... yeah, I've been thinking a lot.

Day 265 - Rainbow.

I was sick today. Weellll.... really I've been sick for ages. I've been feeling like crap all this week, and most of last week. Today I figured I needed a break from school, seeing as it was a half day and I only had art anyway. It was lucky I did, because today I felt the worst!

On a plus though... rainbow!

Day 264 - Me? Grown Up? Pfft.

It still feels kinda funny being Upper Sixth now. I remember when I was a first year and used to look up at the Sixth years and think 'wow.... they are so grown up'. I don't feel grown up, I feel like a big kid! In first year I was so excited for when it was my turn to be an SU Leader.... now here I am. It's true what they say, time flies. Especially when you're having fun... which I am :)

I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart.

Day 263 - Yarrrrrrrrrr!!!

I'm using this as my photo of the day because no matter how incredible a photo I take, it will never reach the awesomeness of this group of four video stills.Today we were filming for another SU video.. this weeks theme - Pirates. It's actually awesome, the video is hilarious if I do say so myself! I've spent the afternoon editing the video with Michelle and we are very pleased with it. I'll post a link tomorrow, right now I have to do my English essay! :) Good night all!

Day 261 - An Irish Blessing :)

My two good friends were married in Canada over the summer, and tonight they had their 'Irish Blessing'. I was late to it, typical me, but it was very good! It was cool hanging out with the both the Murlough and the Crosspoint gang at the same time... we also made some new friends!

Day 259 - Is That Ironic?

Happy 18th Matthew! Yep, it's my friend Matthew's 18th today. This is him -It was a good night, full of laughs and food and banter and guitars! It's nice being able to just chill with a bunch of your friends sometimes. I've gotten very lazy at getting good photies recently, so the best photography I got all night was of Michelle's shoe. Is that ironic?

Day 257 - Happy :)

Been getting some pictures of karate for my art... I kinda like this one!I've had an awesome day today. Okay, school was average, but then we had SU. It was so encouraging to see so many people there!! It made me sooo happy! God is working, I can see that. :) Another reason why I'm kinda happy right now, is I just got asked to the formal. :) Cool. :)

Day 256 - Wait... Monday Again?

Yep, it's Monday again... but I actually don't mind... I had an AWESOME Monday today! My good friends Leahy (plus ukulele), Mich and I wandered around school during free period at junior lunch with a video camera, asking random young children if they were excited for SU (a Christian organisation in our school). It was so much fun!!! It was actually great advertising as well, a lot of people were asking what SU was about. So we may do this every week :)

Day 254 - Happy Birthday To The Bestie.

Nah, not really, I have more to say, mainly HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!! Today is Mich's 18th birthday. I made her a rage cake ^ ... I also made her a wee video, because her actual present didn't arrive today. Yep, I was home alone all day today, so I spent the entire day making a five minute video for her. Yes. I was very bored. :) But it was worth it!

The party was a lot of fun, we had Pedro the Piñata make his grand return. (Last time we saw Pedro was back in the early days of Oasis, where he was brutally murdered.) He was brutally murdered again tonight, as you can see from the picture below.

Day 253 - Reunited!

A picture of a light bulb. Blame the fact that I have been snowed under with homework. I was back at Crosspoint tonight!! :D Yaaayyy!! I was there last night as well, it was great. There was mucho hugging to be done, I have missed it and the people there. I also met the new intern, Jess, she's really nice! :) I'm looking forward to the next wee while!

Day 251 - Grumpy Face Buns!

Okay, so it's not a good photo, but this greatly amuses me! Yes... you can get 'Grumpy Face Buns' in the Eurospar in Castlewellan. Day made. Seriously.

Day 249 - Future And Past

Today a few friends and I took the train up to the University of Ulster, Coleraine for the open day... it was okay - the courses seem interesting, but they seem to have a lack of facilities. Huh. Although I don't have anything to compare it to yet so we'll just have to see!Well this is a picture of me wearing my J-Dawg sunglasses, because I was reminiscing about Fused tonight! :) :)

Day 247 - Epic Just Like The Matrix!

I am soo soooo sooooooo excited for our karate demo at the end of the month!! We're gonna be doing something truly EPIC, in the style of the Matrix :D It better be good, as this is gonna be our last demo. Day 245 - Day Two In The World Of U6th-ness

I'm already getting a bit sick of school... and art is already starting to stress me out.... meh, hopefully it'll get better! It feels wierd being U6th, I keep expecting to see people from the year above, but I don't! I feel old...

Day 244 - Here We Go...

Back to school! I've decided to be optimistic... this year is gonna be better than last year. I'm gonna have fun, and enjoy myself, despite the fact that I have a lot more work to do! I guess having one less subject will also make things better. What does excite me is that they've brought back home study this year, which means I can go home at lunch time on Wednesdays! :DHere's to the year ahead!
