Day 290 - "A Plaster For Your Nose??"

Oh how I love filming for SU! Today four of us were filming for our latest Scripture Union epic. This one tells the story of Michelle and Leahy's adventure up a mountain, where they learn how to pray! :) It's pretty hilarious, we have many special effects ;)
This is a still from the film, during one of the clips.

Day 289 - Glub Glub Glub

So I've just been chilling at home today. And yeah it's another picture of water splashing. I guess I'm just unoriginal!

Day 198 - Puppetry...

So right now I'm sitting on my laptop in Mich's room. And I'm far too lazy to get a photo of the day, so instead I have taken a webcam pic of some puppets I made today ;) MAKING PUPPETS IS SO MUCH FUN!!So due to a lack of Karate Kid, we've decided to just hang out all weekend! :) I'm happy with that!

Day 178 - I'm... Tired... :) But Happy!

This is a series of pictures of one of my mum's Willow Tree ornaments... yeah I think I'm getting a bit addicted to black and white, but I think it works! Hope you like!Well last night I was at one a sleepover at Crosspoint, the drop in near where I live! And now... I... am... shattered!! I got home this morning at about nine, and then slept until lunch time. Ah naps! Love them! But it was a very good night! We watched movies, for example, The Lovely Bones! It's a creepy movie, but very well made - I was analysing it like I would do in Moving Image Arts class... lol. :) Yes I enjoyed myself! All day I've been in one of those moods where you're so tired that you have no idea what to do with yourself... so it's been a long day, but I'm looking forward to sleeping again tonight haha!

Hope you've all had a nice weekend!

Day 156 - Bonding With Besties

This afternoon, I was sitting in my room doing some revision, and I just thought, "I wanna meet my best friend for tea!" So I rang my good friend Sarah and was like "hey! meet me in town?" and she was like "sure!"

So we met up and had a nice bonding session before going out to youth club! :) I enjoyed myself!
Sarah took this picture of our feet ^ should give her a wee shout out! Love ya!

Day 108 - That Buzzing-Noise...

"That buzzing-noise means something. If there's a buzzing noise, somebody's making a buzzing-noise, and the only reason for making a buzzing-noise that I know of is because you're a bee. ....
And the only reason for being a bee that I know of is making honey.....
And the only reason for making honey is so as I can eat it."

- Winnie the Pooh
It's bee season!! I have now decided I like bees better than birds, because bees don't give a crap if you stand a foot or two away from them and point a dangerous looking telephoto lens at them... they just carry on with their own business! Birds, however, like to fly to the nearest tree and hide until you've gone. Yes, I like bees. So I got my telephoto out and stood right by this pink flowery bush, and tried to catch a bee that would stay still. It was difficult trying to get the camera to focus on a bee as they never stayed in one place for more than a second... however once you got your camera to focus on one, you could follow it around and get some great shots! Because I has the telephoto lens also meant that these photos didn't need to be cropped :)
Hope you had a good weekend!

Day 7 - A Living Zombie... Is That A Paradox?

Okay, so having to get up for school at the crack of dawn usually sucks majorly and I end up being a living zombie for the rest of the day. Well, getting up early this morning meant I could attempt to take a picture of the sunrise! It was very pretty, just this streak of brilliant orange / red under dark clouds... uber dramatic! =]

Anyways, the problem was my camera was as tired and as grumpy as I was, and so I couldn't capture the true awesomeness of the sunrise like it deserved. So I played around with a few different settings, with various results, and then I couldn't decide which one I would put up, so I've just put them all into one box and uploaded three of the photos. I don't know which one I think is most effective, I guess you can decide that for yourself!! I don't have a sunset mode on my camera you see (or else I think I don't), so I just kinda have to improvise when it comes to this kind of light. I use a Nikon D60 by the way! I probably should have mentioned that earlier on in the blog...
